Mountain West Helicopters is currently a contractor to the U.S. government for wildfire suppression. Our company has held contracts continuously for the past 25 years. Today we have contracts in place with the United States Forest Service, Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, Cal Fire, and Oregon Department of Forestry. Using our fleet of helicopters — which includes the Kaman K1200 K-Max, Bell UH-1H or the Airbus H125 — we can fulfill any firefighting requirement. Our team uses the most modern, power-fill water buckets, fuel trucks, and equipment. We are always at the ready and can rapidly dispatch to any fire emergency. Our services can be used nationwide and are not confined to any particular region.
