Mountain West Helicopters supports state and local governments in their occasional need for helicopter services. We provide aircraft for aerial surveys that are conducted to monitor wildlife herd conditions and populations. We have helped in the transplanting and retrieving of wildlife in very remote areas. We have also helped government agencies with the repair and inspection of high-altitude dams and water sources. Other government services include non-fire projects that have been completed for the United States Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.
